Carrying on the tradition of having the birthday person's favorite dinner at home, we made Caitlyn her choice of dinner for her #6: Chicken Soup with Rice (it's from her favorite collection of poems at school, google the name if you want!) corn on the cob, RAW broccoli with ranch dressing, and ice cream cake. Thank you, Shara, for making this cake!!! It was delicious! Marty bbq'd chicken too, because it was a nice day and not everyone was into having soup! ;) Caitlyn had a few friends over to celebrate who arent' going to be able to come to her birthday party: Karson, Jaycee, and Andrew. Of course Brie and Jake were there too! The kids had a such a great time, and had I known the night was going to be such a hit, I would never have planned a pizza party for her this weekend! But she's really looking forward to it!
